ニューイングランド地域の研究者情報

　ボストンをはじめニューイングランド地域は、ライフサイエンス、バイオテクノロジー、AI、量子、エネルギーなどの分野で世界有数の研究拠点が集積し、多くの日本人研究者が第一線で活躍しています。

　在ボストン日本国総領事館では、研究者同士や日本本国との連携を強化することが、日米協力の深化、ひいては日本の国力強化につながると考えており、このたび、ニューイングランドで活躍する日本人PI（Principal Investigator:大学等における研究主宰・責任者）情報をリスト化に取り組んでいます。

　本リストは、日本の関係省庁や大学等に共有し、海外に挑戦したい若者や国際共同研究を模索する日本の大学に活用頂くことなどを通じ、我が国の科学技術力の基盤の強化に繋げることを目指しています。

　また、登録されたPIには、日本との繋がりを強めることによる優秀な人材確保ポテンシャルの向上及びそれに伴う所属機関での日本人プレゼンスの向上が期待されるほか、当館からも日本関連の交流機会の提供などを行っていきます。

　各研究者への連絡先は、リスト右欄に記載のURLをご確認ください。本PIリストを経由して掲載されているPIに連絡を取る際は、メール件名に【PIリスト】と明記頂くようお願いいたします。

　また、本リストを通じて留学の受入や国際共同研究などの具体的案件が形成された場合には、是非こちらまでお知らせください。本取組みの継続と拡大には皆様の賛同の声と本リストを活用した具体事例の蓄積が欠かせません。何卒皆様のご協力をお願いいたします。
