Conferment Ceremony for Dr. Thomas Curtin

On December 2, a conferment ceremony for Dr. Thomas Curtin, former president of the Massachusetts Hokkaido Association and former chair of the Concord Nanae Network, was held at his home. Consul General Michii gave a congratulatory speech followed by remarks by Ms. Kiyoko Morita, president of the Massachusetts Hokkaido Association. Also, messages form the foreign minister, the governor of Hokkaido, and the mayor of Nanae were read.
