Consul General Takahashi’s Visit to Cambridge City Hall (March 14, 2025)

On March 14, Consul General Takahashi made remarks at City Hall in Cambridge, MA, during a meeting with Vice Mayor Marc McGovern of Cambridge and teachers and students from Meikei High School of Tsukuba, Ibaraki.
Tsukuba is the sister city of Cambridge. On this occasion, the City of Cambridge issued the proclamation welcoming the students and teachers of Meikei High School.
In his remarks, Consul General Takahashi expressed his gratitude for the hospitality of the City of Cambridge and his hope for further development of the sister-city relationship between Cambridge and Tsukuba. He also offered his encouraging words to the students of Meikei High School, who had completed a week-long home stay program, while recalling his own experience of staying with a host family in Canada during his high-school days.
