Qualifications (individuals with a travel record to Japan in the last three years)

 

Nationality	Qualifications
India	You should have two records or more to Japan with a temporary visit visa for the last year and have sufficient financial capability
Indonesia Philippines Russia Ukraine Viet Nam	You should have a travel record or more to Japan with a temporary visit visa for the last three years and have sufficient financial capability
Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu

 
 

Documentation

Please note:
○ The Consulate declines incomplete documents; additional documents may be requested during the course of application/examination.
○ Do NOT staple your application.
○ The Consulate will not make copies.
○ The letters and certificates must be original with hand written signatures. Electronic signatures are not acceptable.

 

Each applicant for a Mutiple Visit Visa for individuals with a travel record to Japan must submit the following basic documents.

 

1	India	○ The documents from No.1 to No.5.listed in "Documentation for Temporary Visitor Visa"
		(○ Your previous passport to prove the required travel record to Japan) (if needed)
	All applicable nationality (other than India)	○ The documents from No.1 to No.5.listed in "Documentation for Temporary Visitor Visa"
		(○ A certificate of employment which states the following:)(If you work at an enterprise) - your salary - your position - start date of your employment
		○ A letter stating the reason of application for a multiple visit visa (including the intended length of stay in Japan)
		(○ Your previous passport to prove the required travel record to Japan) (if needed)

 

2	India Indonesia Philippines Viet Nam	○ A current bank statement* (*We can only accept bank statements in US dollars.) OR ○ Your passport(s) to prove the travel records to G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, UK) for the last three years [The visit to France, Germany or Italy should be with the Schengen visa issued by one of those countries.]
	All applicable nationality (other than countries mentioned above)	○ A current bank statement* (*We can only accept bank statements in US dollars.)

○ Additional documents may be requested during the course of application/examination as it is impossible to specify the exact form the evidence should take since applicants' circumstances vary greatly.
