Japan Foundation salary assistance grant given to South Burlington High School (September 13)

Consul Yamauchi visited South Burlington High School to deliver the Japan Foundation salary assistance grant. After the presentation to Principal Burke, he visited a Japanese Language class. Students did presentations to introduce Vermont products in the class. Although foreign language is not required at the high school, Japanese classes from level 1 to level 4 have been offered for a long time. Students enjoy studying the language as well as its culture.
