Foreign Minister Commendation award ceremony

An award ceremony for Professor Tamae Prindle, Oak Professor of East Asian Language and Literature, was held on November 8, 2016 at Colby College in Maine. Many people includingConsul General Michii, President David A. Greene and other scholars, gathered to celebrate the presentation of the Foreign Minister Commendation 2016 to Prof. Prindle. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this commendation in July for Prof. Prindle’s contribution in promoting friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and the U.S.
