25th Anniversary Celebration of the Massachusetts Hokkaido Sister State Relationship (October 19, 2015)


The celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Massachusetts Hokkaido Sister State Relationship was held at the State House.
It was celebrated through a public exchange of greetings between the Governors, legislators and other members of the delegation.  The Governors or their representatives signed a Memorandum of Understanding continuing the relationship for another five years. Governor Baker of Massachusetts officially declared October 19, 2015, “Hokkaido Day”.
