On July 15th, a commendation ceremony for Mr. Viner, the President of Japan-America Society in Rhode Island was held at the Black Ships Festival Gala at Rosecliff in Newport, RI. Mr. Viner received The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette for his contribution to the promotion of friendship between Japan and the United States.
