JETRO and the Consulate co-hosted an IP seminar, May 31, 2017

On May 31st, JETRO New York and the Consulate General of Japan in Boston co-hosted a seminar on IPG at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The afternoon of lectures featured an introduction by Consul General Michii and talks by Ms. Yoshie Katahara from the Science and Technology division of the Consulate General, Mr. Wataru Imamura from JETRO New York’s division on intellectual property, and Mr. James Pooley from Orrick (former WIPO Deputy Director General for Patents).
The discussion focused on such topics as the Trump administration’s impact on intellectual property policy and how to protect trade secrets in the United States of America.
