On May 13th, Consul General Takahashi attended the reception for the Boston Consular Corps hosted by Mayor Michelle Wu, City of Boston.
On this occasion, Consul General Takahashi exchanged views on innovation, cooperation, and other topics, presented the Mayor a badge created by the Consulate to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, expressing a wish for Japan–U.S. friendship, and reaffirmed that they would further deepen cooperation toward strengthening Japan-Boston relations with an eye toward the 70th anniversary of the sister city relationship with Kyoto City in 2029.
