On April 26, Consul General Takahashi presented a Commendation to Ms. Etsuko Yashiro, in recognition of her significant contributions to promoting friendly relations between Japan and Boston, as well as Japan and New England, through her activities, including the President of Boston Japan Festival, President of Japan Business Bureau of Japan (JBBB), President of Boston Association of Japan, and Chair of Japan Nantucket Basket Association.
Ms. Yashiro expressed her gratitude for the honor and her aspiration to continue helping local residents experience and become familiar with the richness and diversity of Japanese culture through the Boston Japan Festival and other related activities.
