Cultural & Innovative Evenings “Furoshiki” (April 10, 2026) 

From FY2026, we have changed the title of the event series as "Cultural & Innovative Evenings." As the first event, on April 10th, the Consulate-General of Japan in Boston invited Ms. Nefertiti San Miguel as a lecturer and held the Cultural & Innovative Series “Furoshiki”.

Ms. San Miguel introduced Furoshiki to approximately 15 participants through a demonstration and workshop and lecture.

The participants greatly enjoyed listening to Ms. San Miguel explain the ideas of gift giving using unique fusion of the Japanese tradition of furoshiki and modern gift wrapping, and showed participants how to wrap gifts 3 different ways.
