On March 25, Consul General Takahashi met with Director Makoto Fujiwara of Tokyo National Museum and Director Pierre Terjanian of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and exchanged views with them regarding cultural exchanges between the Japanese arts.
The Tokyo National Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, have signed a memorandum of understanding. This agreement is expected to promote collaboration between the Tokyo National Museum—Japan's leading museum—and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, which houses the largest collection of Japanese art outside Japan.
