Consul General Takahashi’s Visit to Anime Boston (April 3, 2026)

On April 3, Consul General Takahashi visited Anime Boston and delivered remarks at the opening ceremony. In his speech, he expressed his hope that all participants would enjoy Japanese culture through pop culture such as manga, anime, and games.
Consul General Takahashi also exchanged views with Japanese guests at the event, including composer Ms. Yoko Kanno, voice actor Ms. Kujira, singer Mr. Coda, and illustrator Ms. Sakizo. He also attended the concert by Ms. Yoko Kanno and a Rakugo performance by Master Katsura Sunshine.
The Consulate General also set up an exhibition booth to promote the JET Program.
