Attendance at the Japanese Language School of Greater Hartford and Exchange with Japanese Companies and Researchers (March 21, 2026)

On Saturday, March 21, Consul General Takahashi attended the graduation ceremony of the Japanese Language School of Greater Hartford and delivered congratulatory remarks.
Twenty-five kindergarten and school graduates received their diplomas in a bright and celebratory atmosphere, surrounded by fellow students, parents, and faculty members.
Congratulatory messages were also delivered by Principal Jeff, who is stepping down at the end of this term, and by Ms. Neems, Chair of the School Management Committee.
 
On the same day in Hartford, Consul General Takahashi held a roundtable discussion with representatives of Japanese companies and Japanese researchers, with a total of six participants. The Consul General heard from the participants about their business initiatives and research activities. He also referred to the rapidly expanding and evolving innovation-related activities in the region, noting that these efforts will be further strengthened based on the launch of J‑NEXUS in February. The meeting featured an active and constructive exchange of views.
