Lecture by Consul General Takahashi at Brandeis University (March 12, 2026)

On March 12th, Consul General Seiichiro Takahashi delivered a lecture at Brandeis University as part of a continuing education program for adult learners titled “Overview of the Security Environment Surrounding Japan and Outlook for Japan’s Diplomacy.”
A lively exchange of views took place regarding the importance of the Japan–U.S. Alliance, as well as the Consulate’s activities across the six New England states.
The Consulate expresses its appreciation to Dr. Theodore Gilman, Director of the Brandeis Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (BOLLI) and former Executive Director of the Harvard University Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies, for arranging this opportunity.
