On March 5, Consul General Takahashi met with executive members of the Institute of Science Tokyo, including Prof. Junichi Imura, Executive Vice President for Institute Strategy, Prof. Mutsuko Hatano, Executive Vice President for Research and Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration, and Prof. Koji Murofushi, Vice President for Sports Science, and exchanged views on Japan-U.S. academic and research exchanges in the region.
During the meeting, Consul General Takahashi referred to the rapidly expanding and developing innovation-related activities in the region and agreed on future cooperation with the Institute of Science Tokyo.
