Consul General Takahashi meets with representatives from FIFA World Cup Boston and the New England Revolution (February 13, 2026)

On February 13, Consul General Takahashi met with representatives from FIFA World Cup Boston and the New England Revolution, including Mr. Jon Persch, CFO of FIFA World Cup Boston, and Ms. Juliane Mahoney, Multicultural Engagement Specialist for the New England Revolution.
Before the meeting, Consul General Takahashi was presented with a New England Revolution jersey.
They exchanged views on further cooperation for the upcoming AAPI Night with the New England Revolution in May, as well as the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be held in various cities across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, including Boston.
Consul General Takahashi also wore the SAMURAI BLUE jersey of the Team Japan.
