Consul General Takahashi’s Attendance at the New Year General Meeting of the Japanese Business Association of New England (January 23, 2026)

On January 23, Consul General Takahashi attended the New Year General Meeting of the Japanese Business Association of New England, which is composed of Japanese-affiliated companies located across the six New England states and delivered opening remarks.
In his remarks, Consul General Takahashi announced the launch of a new initiative for this year, “J-NEXUS: Japan–New England Nexus for Innovation.” He stated his intention to further promote friendship, cooperation, and collaboration between Japan and the New England region by regularly disseminating information from both Japan and New England on innovation-related activities that are rapidly expanding and developing in the region.
He also expressed his expectations for the continued growth of the Japanese Business Association of New England as it marks its 40th anniversary and affirmed the Consulate General’s commitment to further strengthening its efforts, in cooperation with the Association, to deepen Japan–U.S. relations.
