On November 25th, Consul General Takahashi visited Augusta, Maine, and exchanged views with Governor Janet Mills.
During the discussion, both sides welcomed the historical ties between Japan and the State of Maine through baseball, as well as the multiple sister-city and sister-state relationships, including those between Aomori Prefecture and the State of Maine. They also agreed to further strengthen economic relations and expand people-to-people and cultural exchanges with the state.
