Consul General Takahashi’s Visit to the Arnold Arboretum (May 19, 2025)

On May 19, Consul General Takahashi visited the Arnold Arboretum and paid a call on Director Ned Friedman.
During their meeting, Consul General Takahashi and Director Friedman discussed the long-standing cooperation and friendship between Japan and the Arboretum, particularly in the field of botany and agreed to further strengthen cultural exchanges. Director Friedman then briefed Consul General Takahashi on the Arboretum's role and contributions to plant research and conservation, including the preservation of Japanese plant species.
