Consul General Takahashi meets with Vermont State Leaders (April 30, 2025)

On April 30th, Consul General Takahashi visited Montpelier, Vermont, and exchanged views with Lieutenant Governor John Rodgers, followed by Speaker of the House Jill Krowinski.
During the discussion, both sides welcomed the vitality of Japanese language education in the state and the active sister-state relationship between Tottori Prefecture and Vermont. They affirmed their commitment to further strengthening people-to-people and cultural exchanges, tourism, and economic relations going forward.
He was then acknowledged at House Session and participated in the discussions of the House Committee on Commerce and Economic Development.
