Consul General Takahashi's Visit to Seafood Expo North America 2025

On March 17, Consul General Takahashi visited Seafood Expo North America 2025, held in Boston, one of the world's three largest seafood exhibitions. He visited booths from Japan and exchanged opinions with Japanese companies on the prospects of business negotiations and the feel of the US market.
19 companies and organizations dealing with Japanese seafood and processed seafood products exhibited at the Japan Pavilion set up by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization). On top of that, several Japanese companies and organizations participated independently, and lively business negotiations were held every day with buyers from North America, Asia, and other parts of the world.
Toyosu Export Partnership Council, which participated for the first time this year, promoted information to the world's food markets and food professionals to further raise the profile of Toyosu Market around the world. In addition, Chiba Prefecture held its own tasting event after the expo, spreading the appeal of Japanese ingredients to the world and attracting the attention of many visitors.
