Consul General Takahashi's Participation in the Japanese Association of Greater Boston New Year’s Party and Presentation of CERTIFICATE OF COMMENDATION

On Sunday, January 12, the Japanese Association of Greater Boston held its New Year’s Party in grand style. After delivering his New Year’s greeting, Consul General Takahashi presented a CERTIFICATE OF COMMENDATION to Dr. Marice Edouard-Vincent, the Superintendent of Medford Public Schools. Dr. Edouard-Vincent has made significant contributions to the operation of the Boston Japanese Language School and has played a key role in promoting mutual understanding between Japan and the United States, as well as fostering the friendship between the two countries.
 
In addition to celebrating new adults in a Coming of Age ceremony, the event featured an oboe performance, a lion dance, and a lottery, providing participants with a joyful and festive time to celebrate the New Year.
