Reception for U.S. Navy Service Members Formerly Stationed in Japan (Saturday, September 21st)

On September 21st, Consul General TAKAHASHI Seiichiro invited U.S. military members formerly stationed in Japan from the US Naval War College and their family members from Rhode Island to his residence for a reception.
The reception was attended by more than 80 people, including Honorary Consul of Japan in Bristol Steve Aveson, security experts, and Ministry of Defense and the Japan Self-Defense Force officials, among others, providing everyone an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of Japan-US relations and the Japan-US alliance.
Attendees deepened their friendship and enjoyed Japanese food, sake, and a tea ceremony demonstration by Urasenke Tankokai Boston Association while reflecting on good memories from their service in Japan.
