The Greater Boston-Japan Cherry Blossom Festival 2012

(Official Logo for the Celebration of 100 Years of the Gift of Trees)
The year 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the gift of the cherry blossom trees from Japan to the United States. A series of events celebrating this centennial are being organized across the US to encourage and deepen mutual friendship between the two countries.
“The Greater Boston-Japan Cherry Blossom Festival.” which includes many cultural events, will be held mainly from March to May.
2.Event Endorsement Guidelines
Event organizers who want to take part in “The Greater Boston-Japan Cherry Blossom Festival 2012” need to submit (1) Application Form and (2) Pledge on Event Recognition to infocul@cgjbos.org . After some consideration within the Consulate, we will inform you of the result. Events should not be mainly profit-oriented (see other requirements here).
In addition to (1) and (2), if you want to use the official logo for the Celebration of 100 Years of the Gift of Trees, please fill out “(3) Pledge on Use of Logo” together.
