Consul General and Mrs. Muto visited Smith College Museum of Art on May 23. At that time, an exhibition, “Collecting Art of Asia” was on at the Museum.

This installation created by Yong Soon Min is a reverse image of Kanagawa Oki Namiura, Hokusai’s famous woodblock print of a large wave. It was created by attaching records, CDs and DVDs of famous Asian singers to a wall of the Museum. Records of Hideo Murata and Kyu Sakamoto are included.
