The Consulate General of Japan is pleased to announce that Consul General Masaru Tsuji will appear in a half-hour interview on Brookline Access TV’s “Seymore Alan Ziskend Show”.  The interview will be aired on multiple occasions.  The first show can be seen on Sunday, July 19 at 6:00 am and 4:00 pm.  The show will be rebroadcast on Mondays at 12:30 pm, on Wednesdays at 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, and on future Sundays at 6:00 am and 4:00 pm until replaced by a new show.

Consul General Tsuji engages in a broad-ranging discussion covering the duties and activities of the Consulate General’s office, travel and tourism in Japan, and the shinkansen, Japan’s fastest bullet-train.  Other topics include the fascinating story of Chiune Sugihara, a Consul of Japan posted in Lithuania in the early days of World War II who saved many Jewish refugees, one of whom now lives in Brookline.
